Harp Development Selects CORE Construction
To Build Greens Edge


Harp Development, the developer of Greens Edge at Province Park in Fort Myers, has selected CORE Construction Florida to build the community’s 11 residential towers. The contract was signed on Thursday, November 9 with construction expected to begin prior to the end of the month.


“CORE Construction has a long history in the Southwest Florida marketplace, has earned a great reputation and respect from other developers and is one of the top companies in the United States for building quality multi-family residences,” said Amir Harpaz of Fort Myers-based Harp Development. 


John Wiseman, President of CORE Construction Florida and current President of the Florida Homebuilders Association, said the company, which builds in Florida, Texas, Illinois, Arizona and Nevada, exceeds $600 million in volume a year making the company one of the Top 50 construction service providers in the nation.   CORE Construction Florida has offices in Naples, Sarasota and Orlando.

Greens Edge, which will have 11 buildings for a total of 330 residences, is currently about 70 percent sold. 


Three floor plans are available with prices starting in the high-$300s.


The Broadmoor is a three-bedroom/den/two-and-a-half-bath plan with 1,735 square feet under air and 2,163 total square feet.  


The Aberdeen is a three-bedroom/den/two-and-a-half-bath plan with 1,875 square feet under air and 2,325 total square feet.


The Carlsbad is a two-bedroom/den/two-bath plan with 2,001 square feet under air and 2,621 total square feet.

Harpaz added that both full time and part-time residents are purchasing homes in the mid-rise condominium neighborhood that borders Eastwood Golf Course and offers views of the course’s tree-lined fairways and the lakes that surround them.


“Those purchasing at Greens Edge have told us the golf course views, the square footage of the units and the communities location close to downtown Fort Myers, major shopping centers and I-75 were major factors in their buying decision,” said Harpaz.


Through an agreement with the City of Fort Myers, residents of Greens Edge will have direct, private access to Eastwood Golf Course, whether they walk or take their own golf cart.  For those golfers who don’t own their own cart, Province Park has golf carts available on a first come basis and can be used to travel the short distance to Eastwood.


Other community amenities include a clubhouse with free-form pool and spa, sun deck, poolside cabana bar and tennis court. The interior of the clubhouse will include a grand room with fireplace, large screen television and billiard table, as well as a fitness center/aerobics room and locker rooms.


The residents at Greens Edge can also utilize the clubhouse and amenities at Province Park and Province Park residents can utilize the clubhouse at Greens Edge.
