A recent survey of Province Park’s residents revealed they purchased a new garden, coach or attached single-family home in the community because of its centralized location, outstanding amenity package which includes access to adjacent Eastwood Golf Course, and overall value and pricing structure.
“The survey didn’t reveal any surprises, just a confirmation of the developers original vision,” said Howard Krass, Province Park’s director of sales and marketing.
Province Park is a 101-acre gated resort-style community located on the Winkler Avenue extension, approximately a quarter-mile north of Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers, adjacent to Eastwood Golf Course. Developed by Harp Development, Province Park was designed to attract homebuyers desiring a maintenance-free lifestyle. And the proof is in the numbers.
“We’ve had a record number of sales in the past two months,” said Krass. “In the past 60 days alone we sold 34 homes and the momentum shows no signs of slowing down.”
The community’s location, close to historic downtown Fort Myers, approximately one mile from I-75 and within minutes of shopping centers and restaurants, is attractive to professionals, both single and married, who work in the Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres and Naples area.
Province Park’s location is also ideal for golfers. Through an agreement with the City of Fort Myers, Province Park’s residents have direct, private access to Eastwood Golf Course, whether they walk or take their own golf cart. For those golfers who don’t own their own cart, Province Park will have a fleet of golf carts available on a first come basis and can be used to travel the short distance to Eastwood.
Having golf carts available for residents adjacent to a championship golf course is like offering the country club lifestyle but without the high cost usually associated with golf club membership.
Province Park’s other amenities include a spectacular clubhouse positioned near the center of the community and within walking distance of every home. The clubhouse, which is nearing completion, features a large clubroom with catering kitchen, a meeting/board room and a modern fitness room with treadmills, state-of-the-art weight machines and free weights.
Outside of the clubhouse is the community’s 32- by 75-foot pool with expansive sundeck, a children’s play area, a tennis court, a community park and a sunning beach that overlooks the community’s 12-acre lake.
Three residential choices are offered at Province Park including garden condominiums, attached single-family homes and coach homes priced from the $170s to the $300s.

“Of the 290 homes in our first two phases less than 60 remain,” said Krass. “The best time to buy a new home at Province Park is now.”
