The development companies of Westwood Investment Associates, the developer of Province Park, and Cypress Woods RV Associates, the developer of Cypress Woods RV Resort, both in Fort Myers, are now under a new company name, Harp Development.
The company’s Vice President, Amir Harpaz, said the change was made to better reflect the company’s new direction.
“Prior to the name change we had different development company names for each of our projects which made it confusing since the principals of the companies were the same,” said Harpaz. “Taking into consideration our current residential communities and our planned future residential and commercial projects we determined that now would be an ideal time to make the name change and bring all of our projects under one umbrella company.”
Cypress Woods RV Associates was formed in 1999 with the unveiling of Cypress Woods RV Resort, located off Luckett Road, east of I-75. highly-amenitized Cypress Woods offers large on or off water RV sites for sale that feature enhanced hookups.
In January 2003, Westwood Investment Associates launched sales at Province Park, a resort-style community located on Winkler Avenue Extension, a quarter mile north of Colonial Boulevard, and adjacent to the public Eastwood Golf Course.
Province Park, which has sold more than 150 homes in 18 months, offers garden condos, attached single-family homes and coach homes with prices ranging from the mid-$100s to the $300s.
“We have several exciting new projects, both commercial and residential, that we are currently working on within the Fort Myers area and will release more information regarding them prior to the end of the year,” said Harpaz.
Harp Development will retain its current office space.
